Joe Buck Career, Fashion And More
Joe Buck began his career at the age of 25 when he was hired by Fox Sports in 1994. He quickly became known for announcing NFL games, making history as the youngest person ever to do so. That same year, he worked alongside Tim McCarver as the lead play-by-play announcer for Major League Baseball on Fox, becoming the youngest person to call a World Series broadcast.
In 2002, Joe paid tribute to his late father during the Fox broadcast of the World Series. That year, he also transitioned into Fox’s #4 NFL broadcast team alongside Tim Green before eventually becoming the network’s top play-by-play announcer, replacing Pat Summerall.
In addition to his NFL work, Joe became the only third broadcaster to simultaneously handle lead coverage for both the NFL and MLB on the same network. He has contributed to Fox’s pregame and postgame NFL shows and worked with former MLB player Harold Reynolds during the 2014-2015 season.
